Benefits

This course examines how people behave and interact and why they do these things.  There is a substantial research section, leading to learners being taught how to conduct social science research.

Entry Pre-requisites 

Learners are expected to have studied successfully at least one science at National five level. Evidence of literacy skills, such as a National five pass in English, would also be helpful here.

Assessments

Written exam (2hrs 40mins) = 67%
Practical assignment             = 33%

Leads to:

Higher Psychology would normally be required to study Psychology at university.
