SQA Solar Assessments for Application of Mathematics courses
The Application of Mathematics courses require that candidates complete a number of online assessments via the SQA Solar online assessment tool.
These assessments will be carried out in one of the school ICT suites where the normal examination conditions will apply. These conditions will include:
- Sitting at a PC such that there is an unused PC between each candidate.
- No talking or listening to music.
- No mobile phones.
- Assistance may be sought if help is required to interpret the questions.
- No other tabs should be open in the browser during these assessments.
Failure to comply with any of these conditions will result in an automatic failed attempt for that assessment.
Candidates may only have two attempts at any assessment in any academic year. Care should therefore be taken when reading questions and assessments should only be submitted for marking when they have been fully checked.
